What do we do?
To strengthen our network between Doctors and doctoral students and to ease the integration of new comers at IFP-EN,
ADIFP organizes several events :
Integration Days
An official welcoming meeting and a lunch are organised every year by the doctoral college of IFP School.
As usual ADIFP lengthens the event and organizes different informal activities around this date to enable newcomers to meet everyone.
All costs (transportation, housing and food) is taken care of.
You will be informed of the dates and program as soon as possible.
FYI: last year integration days took place Sunday 6th and Monday 7th of December 2009.
Annual Study Field Trip
In order to complete the training delivered by IFP-EN,
an annual field trip has been organised every year.

We are currently thinking of the destination for this year’s field trip. As soon as the decision has been taken we will inform you.
Usually about 20 people take the trip in May. Part of the cost of the trip is sponsored by ADIFP, students have to pay for the other part.
Business integration
To create a relationship between doctoral students, doctors and companies,
annual round tables are organised by the association.
This event participates in promoting links between industrial groups and doctoral students of IFP-EN.
We also plan day field trips to visit industrial or research centres.
SPE
Society of Petroleum Engineers (www.spe.org).
ADIFP is the link between SPE and the PhDs at IFP-EN.
SPE organizes conferences and sponsors a field trip for students from IFP-School,
though a few spots are offered to doctoral students of IFP-EN, and the possibility to present their work on the occasion.

ADIFP Yellow Pages
It is done together with the Alumni Association of the IFP School Engineers.
With a distribution throughout all the IFP-School network, it offers the possibility to doctors, post-docs and doctors to be to contact alumni.
English classes
English classes and dummy and official sessions for the TOEIC test (Test of English for International Communication, often asked by companies)
are organized for the members of ADIFP in association with IFP-School.
Classes start in early January. To participate, although if you are reading this you probably don’t need them,
you will receive an email when subscriptions are open.
ADIFP Paper
It’s a communication media that enables us to keep our members informed on the association’s events.
It also contains scientific articles on subjects of interest for doctoral students at IFP-EN.
Social and Sports events
Different events (Film night, theatre, restaurants, museums visits), sponsored by ADIFP, are organised throughout the year at Rueil and Solaize
so PhDs can spend time together and build the network in an informal way.
