PhD Student working time
For reference, working time is from 8:45 am to 4:45 pm. It is forbidden to arrive before 7:00 am and leave after 7:30 pm. Your presence is mandatory from 9:30-11:30 am and 2:00 to 4:00 pm.Medical service
Every year, a follow-up visit is organised by IFP medical service. It is also possible to get a vaccination appointment.Libraries and knowledge bases
While writing your bibliography reports, you may use different documentation centres of IFP.

Works Council
The Website regrouping IFP-EN Works Council activities is available on the internal server for Rueil and Solaize. PhD students can also benefit Council's activities except for the housing help proposed to employees (1% logement). Some of the numerous activities include cultural committee, hiking committee, weekend committee or day on the snow, travel committee, holiday subsidies. Complete list here for Rueil and here for Solaize, tab 'Activités'.Find out about "Family holidays" subsidy also available for PhD students (your holiday expenses partially reimbursed)! Applications open in October, think about doing it next year.
Multimedia Library
- Rueil
Available for everyone, on the 2nd floor of cafeteria (Séquoia building). Opening hours: Tuesday and Friday from 12h15 to 13h45. Annual fee: 20€, registration directly in the library. A vast choice of CDs, DVDs and books available.
- Solaize
A multimedia library is also available for everyone, opening hours: Tuesday and Friday from 12h30 to 13h30 (between the cafeteria and Alumine building). Free CD/DVD/VHS/video game renting, good for 3 weeks (video game) and 2 weeks for CD/DVD/VHS. Overdue fee: 1€ per article per week.
Clubs and DIY-club

Among other clubs, a Do-It-Yourself club allows you to rent equipment. Other clubs are detailled here.
- Solaize
Equipment renting is also available in Solaize, the fee and the renting period vary upon the article.
Shows
- Solaize
Shows, theatres and other manifestations can be reimbursed up to 25% and 50% once per year. Assisted tickets for cinema and football games also available.
IFP-EN sports association (ASIP)
PhD students can also participate to numerous recreational activities proposed by ASIP. Registration fee and medical certificate required (for each activity, please refer to the person in charge). For additional information:Classified Advertisement

Shuttles

Bus lines reserved for IFP employees are also available to PhD students. More information (itineraries, timetable) available here.
- Solaize
Shuttles between Perrache and Solaize are accessible to interns, PhD and post-doc students. Your Human Resources correspondant will provide all necessary information upon your arrival.
